I could have died for the United States - this service and the ongoing threats I face as a result constitute compelling humanitarian grounds for employment authorization.

The State of Indiana has recognized my lawful presence and pending immigration applications as sufficient evidence for driver’s license issuance. Indiana is known for strict documentation requirements, yet they accepted my pending applications as proof of lawful presence and issued my driver’s license. This state recognition should be considered by USCIS as evidence of my legitimate immigration status and the appropriateness of granting employment authorization.
